在新加坡，小孩子需要购买重疾险吗

我们大家都知道重疾险实际上是一种收入损失的替代，它保障的是被保人在因为身患重疾无法工作时所产生的收入损失。那么小孩子本身是不工作的，没有为家庭带来收入，所以也不存在收入损失这一说。

  1. 如果只是考虑到收入损失替代的话，因为小孩确实没有为家庭带来收入，如果只是考虑这一个维度的话呢，小孩子是不需要购买重疾险的。

 

  1. 但是我们再换个角度，从现实情况出发。一个家庭，如果孩子生病了，父母为了照顾小孩，通常情况是需要一个大人辞职来全职照顾孩子的，那么这个辞职的大人，她的收入损失由什么来替代呢？如果这时候小孩子有一份重疾险，那么就可以用来帮助大人因为辞职照顾孩子产生的收入损失，那么家庭的负担是不是就会大幅减轻呢？

 

  1. 我们再想想看，随着孩子的长大成人，他今后人生之中是不是迟早都会用到重疾险呢，所以应该买。那为啥不等孩子长大了自己去买呢？ 因为孩子小的时候买便宜啊。重疾险保费是根据投保时的年龄来计算的，投保年龄越小，保费就会越便宜。尤其是保障终身的重疾险，孩子小，买起来便宜。10年20年的缴费期完了，孩子也长大了，这份保险送给孩子，就可以做为孩子一生保障的一个打底。孩子长大了，可以再根据他自己的需要和能力去补充购买。

 

  1. 我们如果购买的是终身重疾险，那么这个保单是有现金价值的，年龄小购买，就意味着投保时间长，那么这张保单今后的现金价值也就会越高，换个说法就是，今后如果要退保，这张保单因为现金价值高，在退保时拿回来的现金也就越多。

 

所以啊，如果有条件的家庭，尽早给孩子配备一份重疾险也是非常必要的。
