外国人必知的新加坡个人所得税：4个IRAS减税秘诀！(IRAS Income Tax Relief Tips!)

新加坡的纳税居民（Singapore Tax Resident）需在每年的3月-4月份申报上一年度1月至12月的个人所得税。

所有在新加坡获得的收入，或来自新加坡的收入（无论公司或个人）都被视为新加坡应税收入，需在新加坡缴税。因此，新加坡人在国外工作并不需要为此在新加坡纳税。

对于外国人而言，如果在纳税年度的前一年中，在新加坡居住（短暂离境除外）或工作（不包括公司董事身份）超过183天，便会被视为新加坡纳税居民（tax resident），需要缴纳个人所得税。

所谓的减税/节税/避税，不是直接在年收入上回扣。而是减少年收入的总额，以这个新的总额来算需要缴的所得税。

对于持有 Employment Pass的外国人，有什么方法适合节税呢？

节税方法：

  1. 配偶减税：若你的配偶去年年收入低于4,000新币，那么你有机会享有2,000新币的配偶抵税额。
  1. 赡养父母减税：（你的父母在新加坡跟你同住）若其中一位年满55岁，去年收入不超过4,000新币，并在新加坡居住超过八个月，你可以获得9,000新币的抵税额。
  1. 人寿保险减税：作为外国人，你在新加坡没有公积金账户(CPF Account)。你可用你为你自己和配偶购买符合条件的人寿保险，来享受高达5,000新币的保险减税额度（不包括为孩子购买的保险）。
  1. SRS账户减税：外国人每年可向补充退休储蓄（Supplementary Retirement Scheme）账户存入最高35,700新币，这比公民和永久居民的上限要高。如果你的年收入为235,700新币，你将35,700新币存入SRS后，应税收入将降至200,000新币。这不仅帮助节税，还为未来退休积累资金，符合政府鼓励储蓄的政策，甚至可能增加申请永久居民PR身份的机会。

通过充分利用以上四种节税策略，你的税款可望减少40%-50%。

最后一点？
