Why Did I Join an Independent Financial Advisory?

Back in 2016, I was about to be enlisted in the Military and I thought it would be a good idea to start saving money.

I met up with a few agents from reputable insurance companies, they all presented very well and I was almost sold on the spot several times. However, each time the meeting ended, I thought to myself…

“If Company A can offer me XX product, what can Company B offer to me?”

“This will take forever if I were to meet 10 different agents from 10 different insurance companies…”

“Wouldn’t it be good if there was a company that offers a One-Stop Service that could provide a comparison across the nation?” 

That was when, I chanced upon Independent Financial Advisory.

My then advisor turned mentor, presented an excel comparison table that comprises of 6-8 companies and shared with me the features of each product.

“If you are looking for higher returns, company A is the best. If you are looking for flexibility, you can go for company B….”

And this was exactly what I was looking for!
