Vincent has 32 years of experience in the financial services industry. He took a major leap in 2002 to transform Financial Alliance from scratch to become one of the most innovative, widely respected and well-balanced Independent Financial Advisory (“IFA”) firms in Singapore today.
In these 20 years, as the CEO and Principal Officer of Financial Alliance, Vincent has devoted his efforts to develop the company as an IFA firm that empowers financial consultants to offer unbiased and independent financial advice. Starting with 5 financial consultants back in 2002, Financial Alliance is now a leading IFA firm with more than 400 financial consultants and support staff.
Vincent is an active Exco member of the Association of Financial Advisers Singapore (“AFAS”). He was Vice President of AFAS from 2011 to 2013, and President for two terms from 2013 to 2017. Throughout these years, Vincent has actively helped the industry implement regulatory changes and institute relevant industry practices. As a key industry leader, Vincent engages the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) regularly and is pivotal in raising Singapore’s financial advisory industry to the level it is today.
Tang has been involved in the financial services industry in Malaysia and Singapore since 1995. He has vast experience working with leading financial advisory firms in Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia in the Independent financial advisory (IFA) model. Tang is based in Singapore and currently the Head of Business Development of Financial Alliance Singapore responsible for the revenue growth of the company. He also successfully launched FA Advisory Sdn Bhd in 2014 and has been appointed to the board of directors since then.
Tony is married to ONE wife and has three adult children. He has been in the financial advisory business for more than 30 years playing roles such as CEO, Director for Operation & Training. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Mortgage Analyst and an Associate of Estate Planning Practitioner. He is a NeverTiree. He started running marathon at age 50 and has since completed 13 full marathons.
