I have started my financial planning career journey 10 years ago, after spending the first 10 years of my work life taking care of plants and greenery. “What a huge career change!” was what most people commented when I first told them. From plants to people. However, what I realize after a few years as a financial planner, plants and people are similar. Both require time, TLC and correct environment to grow and thrive well. I make these factors the guiding principles in my work. I spend time to understand my clients and their needs, help them to understand complicated financial issues, before providing them with solutions that are customized to their needs. Many of my clients appreciate the way I simplify matters for them and help them see things from another angle. We continue to grow our business relationships to friendships. I also enjoy learning and make lifelong learning a part of my life as I believe I don’t know what I don’t know! Sharing my knowledge with people who need them is also what I love to do as the saying goes “Sharing is Caring.”
