I got to know Klaire through one of my friends more than a decade ago. Back then, I was still a loyal client of my only (ex-) insurance agent. I occasionally met up with Klaire whenever she calls for a catch up. During those sessions, Klaire spent most of her time listening, understanding my life, my challenges, aspirations and most importantly my financial planning needs. Never was she pushy, nor make me a client at any point in time. Instead, we became friends before she became my financial advisor! What changed the tide was when my son got hospitalized when he was around 3 years old. Back then, I had yet to purchase any Medishield upgraded plan for him (as my (ex-) insurance agent did not suggest to do so). Thus, when my son got hospitalized, the medical claims and bills became a worry for me. As I was not familiar with what sort of basic coverage my son had, how much of the medical bill we could pay using our medisave etc, I was anxious on the potential bill we might have to bear. I then approached Klaire and sought her advice. I was touched when she made an effort to visit my son, and also guided me on the claims we could make for the medical bills. She also advised me to consider getting a medishield upgrade plan for my son for a peace of mind. And yes, I took her advice and purchased my first policy with her shortly after my son’s recovery! Since then, I never looked back. Every single insurance/investment policy I purchased thereafter was via Klaire, after discussion and reviewing what Klaire painstakingly proposed. She made sure that the proposed policies or plans not only fits my financial aspirations but also not overburden me financially. That said, Klaire NEVER hard-sells! There were countless times when she proposed a plan but not taken up by me due to one reason or another. Her professionalism, understanding and patience is what I greatly admire. Above all, her sound knowledge and expertise in what she does makes her shine like no other advisors.
