很多人常常将重疾险和医疗险混淆，以为它们是一样的。他们可能认为只要买一份保险就足够了，但事实并非如此。让我们来看看重疾险和医疗险的6大区别。

重疾险（通常在新加坡被称为重疾人寿险 Critical Illness Insurance）
医疗险（通常在新加坡被称为住院险 Hospitalisation Plan 或综合健保计划 Integrated Shield Plan ）

1. 功能有何不同？

  • 重疾险： 一旦确诊为特定重大疾病（如中风、心脏病、癌症等），会一次性支付一笔保险金，帮助患者及其家人渡过难关。
  • 医疗险： 主要用于报销住院和手术费用，包括手术前后的门诊治疗，按实际支出进行赔付。

2. 保费每年都会涨吗？

  • 重疾险： 保费与投保时的年龄相关，投保时的保费是固定的，不会随着年龄的增长而每年上涨。
  • 医疗险： 保费是根据年龄以及选择的医院和保障方案而定的，随着年龄的增长，保费会逐年上涨。

3. 谁应该购买重疾险和医疗险？

  • 重疾险： 特别适合家庭的主要收入来源 “顶梁柱”，尤其是那些有家庭负担（如需要照顾老年父母、孩子或配偶）的朋友。
  • 医疗险： 每个人都需要配置的基本保险，毕竟每个人都有可能生病或者住院。

4. 该购买多少保额？

  • 重疾险： 保额建议至少覆盖5年的年收入，因为重大疾病的恢复期通常需要5年，这笔钱可以帮助你安心养病，不用担心生活费用。
    例如：如果年收入为10万新币，建议选择50万新币的重疾险保额。
  • 医疗险： 医疗险的保额由保险公司根据医院级别和治疗项目设定，最高保障金额可以达到每年200万新币。

5. 选择重疾险和医疗险时需要注意什么？

对于重疾险，需要考虑以下三点：

  • 终身保障（Whole Life）vs 定期保障（Term Life）： 保障期限的不同。
  • 有现金价值 vs 无现金价值： 重疾险可以是具有储蓄功能或者纯消费型保障。
  • 疾病阶段： 早期、中期和晚期的保障不同。

对于医疗险，需注意以下两点：

  • 国籍：
    • 新加坡公民和永久居民（PR）已拥有MediShield Life，可以选择升级为综合健保计划（Integrated Shield Plan）。
    • 外国人需要直接购买综合健保计划（Integrated Shield Plan）。
  • 你想使用公立还是私人医院？
    • 私人医院计划包括私人医院和公立医院的保障。
    • 公立医院计划主要涵盖公立医院的服务。如果你后来选择在私人医院做治疗，保险公司将按照公立医院的比例进行报销（按比例计算 pro-rated）。

6. 理赔程序一样吗？

  • 重疾险： 无论你在哪个国家，只要有医生证明（英文版），都可以理赔。保险公司会一次性支付赔款给受保人。
  • 医疗险： 新加坡公民和永久居民可以通过电子申请（e-filing system）进行住院注册，无需支付医疗费用。外国人需要先自付医疗费用，之后再向保险公司申请报销，或者可以申请医疗担保信（Letter of Guarantee）进行住院治疗，这样就无需预付医疗费用。
