5分钟了解新加坡医疗住院险 (Hospitalisation Insurance / Integrated Shield Plan)

1. 什么是医疗住院险？

医疗住院险主要用于支付住院期间的费用，包括住院每日房费、手术费、住院前后的门诊费用等。

有别于重疾人寿险 （Life Insurance with Critical Illness Coverage）。两种保险是不同性质的，而是互补的。

在新加坡，这类保险非常重要，因为这里的医疗费用，尤其是私人医院的费用，可能非常高。

2. 新加坡医疗住院险的核心特点

  • 多层次医疗保障：从政府补贴的病房（B2/C级病房）到私人医院病房，你可以选择适合自己的方案。
  • 本地与国际覆盖：部分保单还提供国际医疗保障，适合经常旅行或在多个国家居住的人士。
  • 不包括普通门诊：普通的发烧感冒需挂号门诊的，通常都是用医疗证明 Medical Certificate (MC)报销公司的普通医疗福利并请假。

3. 什么是综合健保计划 (Integrated Shield Plan)？是医疗住院险吗？

新加坡的医疗住院险的专业名字是综合健保计划 (Integrated Shield Plan)。

新加坡的基本住院险（MediShield Life）是为公民 (Singapore Citizen) 和永久居民 (Singapore PR) 设计的强制性基本保险，覆盖公立医院 (Government and Restructured Hospital) 的基本治疗费用。保费可用保健储蓄 CPF Medisave来支付。

为了获得更全面的保障，很多人会购买综合健保计划 (IP)：

  • 享受更高级的病房类型（如公立/私立医院的私人病房）；
  • 覆盖更多高等级治疗费用；
  • 减少自付金额。

对于外国人，由于无法享受 MediShield Life，他们通常选择私人医疗保险来获得全面保障，其实也就是综合健保计划 (IP)。

4. 买保单之前，需要注意什么？

  • 保证续保 (Guarantee Renewal)：新加坡医疗险通常都有保证续保条款，只要按时缴保费，保险公司不得终止保单。
  • 理赔额度(Policy Coverage Amount)：理赔额度可高达2百万新币，并且每年更新。
  • 免赔额(Deductible) 和共赔额（Co-insurance）：住院险仍需自付的部分，但可以透过附加险 (Rider)来免掉‘免赔额’和降低’共赔额‘。
  • 保费(Premium)：理赔后是否涨价？多数公司不会涨，但有些公司会增加保费。
  • 理赔服务和速度(Claim Services & Speed)：住院险理赔频繁，选择理赔服务和速度好的公司很重要。

5. 哪些内容不在保障范围内？

大部分住院保险不覆盖以下情况：

  • 既有疾病（购买前已存在的健康问题） Pre-existing condition.
  • 整容手术 Plastic Surgery / Procedures
  • 门诊治疗（除非特别注明，如化疗或透析 kidney dialysis）
