搞懂新加坡指数型万能寿险（IUL）

IUL（指数型万能寿险）结合了终身寿险保障与指数挂钩投资，提供比传统终身寿险更高的现金价值增长潜力，从而具有更高的杠杆效应。您的保费的一部分会被分配到保单的现金价值中，并根据市场指数的表现（如标普500指数或恒生指数）增长。使保单持有者能够参与市场增长，而无需直接投资于股票。与其他某些投资型保险计划不同，IUL通过提供最低保证利率来保护您免受市场下跌的影响。IUL的最大优势在于保费较为经济且缴纳方式灵活，且理赔条件简单，身故即可获得理赔，保障一直有效。

如何运作？

万能寿险是一种既提供保险保障又能进行投资增值的产品。您支付的保费一部分用于保险保障，另一部分用于投资，投资收益将逐渐增加您的保单现金价值。

随着时间的推移，投资部分的回报将根据保险公司的利率产生。保险公司可以调整利率，但最低利率不能低于0%。此外，万能寿险还包括死亡保障，当您去世时，您的家人可以获得死亡赔付。支付的金额通常是保额或保单现金价值中的较高者。需要注意的是，现金价值是通过部分保费的投资回报逐渐积累而来的。
