Who will take care of me?

I recently met a client in her 70s for a Will writing session that really stayed with me. As an adopted child with no immediate family, she initially appointed friends of a similar age as her executors and beneficiaries. Sadly, she recently discovered one of these friends is battling a serious illness, leaving her estate plans in limbo.

This is becoming a common challenge in Singapore’s aging society. Even for those with children, the reality is that the “sandwich generation” often struggles to balance their own families with the complex duties of estate executorship. This prompted me to look deeper into sustainable solutions for those who feel they have no one “suitable” to lean on. If you’re facing a similar crossroads in your estate planning, I’m here to help. Feel free to drop me a message for a private chat.

Thriving as a self-employed individual is a result of strategic financial planning and a commitment to growth. Along the way, I’ve cherished the joy of learning through real-life experiences and the inspiring people I’ve met. Starting my career as a salaryman earning just $1,500 a month, I achieved a major milestone by paying off my mortgage within 15 years through disciplined financial management.

In 2019, I took a bold leap by launching an F&B business while maintaining a full-time job to manage the risks. Today, that venture has flourished into a successful enterprise generating approximately $2 million in annual revenue.

Inspired by my journey, I’m passionate about sharing the power of effective financial planning with friends and clients, helping them achieve their financial goals while continuing to pursue my own aspirations.
