恭喜你们🎉 经过长夜漫漫的日子，终于成功拿到新加坡公民或PR了👏🏻💪🏻🥳

当你成为公民或PR的时候，就必须缴交一部分的薪水到公积金，也就是CPF。在新加坡，CPF有3个户口，分别是，普通户口Ordinary Account,

特别户口Special Account 和

医药保健 Medisave。

Medisave – 医药保健：

就是专门用在医疗上的。你可以使用它来缴交你的医药费，住院保险等等。PR 的第一年，你会收到letter通知你要top up你的 Medisave。

这是用来缴交Medishield Life的保费。

Medishield Life – 终身健保：

是新加坡政府强制所有国人和PR必须购买的医疗保险。它提供最基本的医疗保障。新加坡政府深知医疗保险的重要性。为了确保所有公民与PR可以有最基本的保障而推出的national program。但由于这仅仅是最基本的保障，当有重大医疗事故发生时，例如癌症，长期住院和重大手术时，Medishield Life 往往起不到太大的作用。

但是！

你是可以使用Medisave来提升这个住院保障，以确保事情发生时，这个医疗保险能足够的帮你支付医药费。你不需要担心动用到自己的储蓄，让庞大的医药费吞噬我们的血汗钱！😱
