Wakaf (Waqf) as an Alternative Investment

Wakaf is a form of endowment under Shariah. 

Wakaf funds can be used in social wakafs, productive wakafs or a combination of the two.

Waqf Istithmar or wakaf investment is a form of productive wakaf.
